Welcome to the blog

Well I guess I have finally succumbed to the trend, I have also started a Blog. My wife opened up one here a few days ago but I have been planning and thinking about this for quite a while now. So what will this be about? Technology things mainly. At the moment I am very much deeply immersed in a virtualization project at my job so I gather that there will be a decent amount about that. More about Me

My name is Maish Saidel-Keesing. I currently work at NDS, in Israel. I have been working in IT for the past 15 years, and can remember myself messing around with computers ever since I was 6 years old. My current responsibilities at NDS include: Virtualization Architecture, and architectural designs of enterprise solutions for our customers (be it VMware, RedHat, Xen or whatever comes along the way). I have extensive experience with Windows Infrastructure (Active Directory, DNS, Server Hardware etc..)

I am currently holding a position as a Virtualization Architect for NDS Group Ltd in Jerusalem, Israel and has been working in IT for the past 15 years and with a stronger focus on virtualization for the past 5. I have extensive experience in Active Directory Infrastructure, server hardware from all the major vendors and VMware, virtualization and cloud technologies and products, and I also like to play around with PowerShell.

I was awarded the vExpert award from VMware in 2009, 2010 and 2011 and am a moderator on the VMware communities  and also on the Petri forums.

I have co-authored the VMware vSphere Design book.

I am currently designing on of the Hands on Labs Sessions that will be available to all attendees at the upcoming VMworld conference.

I am the married to the most wonderful woman, the love of my life, have 3 amazing daughters and am very happy with my life.

I hold several certifications including MCP, MCSA, MCSE  in Windows NT4, 2000 and 2003, Novell CNA, and am a VMware VCP 3,4 and 5. I have currently completed the VCDX Enterprise Admin Exam and the VCDX Design Exam and am planning to purse the the VCDX5 track when it becomes available.
